*SPECIAL LIMITED OFFER* £100 OF OUR ONLINE PRICE FOR INSTALLATIONS BOOKED SPRING 2024
FD30s Composite Fire Doors are purpose built to withstand fire for a minimum of 30 minutes. The potential life saving requirements of Fire Doors means that they should only be installed by qualified and experienced installers.
Our trained door fitters have installed hundreds of FD30 fire doors in and around the local area. Most of the fire doors we have installed have been due to lease holders receiving letters from Nottinghamshire, Derby and Sheffield County Councils to inform them that their current doors don't meet the most up to date safety regulations.
Due to our installers being registered City & Guild Fire Door Inspectors and UKAS Accredited FireQual FD30S Fire Door Installers, we are able to self-certify our work from the survey to completion. This helps to make the installation of your new fire door simple and stress free.
The FD30S Fire Doors that we install are certified fire doors with intumescent strips and smoke seals, which are tested by Warringtonfire and Certifire. All of the fire doors we provide are Bi-directionally tested (which means they are tested on both sides of the door) to British Standard BS476:1987, parts 22 &31.
We also offer the option to have an externally rated fire door, which would be tested to EN1634-1. Our externally rated fire doors can also be fitted internally if required.
The fire doors we install all come as full door sets. This includes a new door, door frame, CE marked hinges, locks, thumbturns, intumescent strips, smoke seals and an automatic overhead door closer (we do also offer concealed door closers if required).
In addition to these items, we also offer the option to add other door furniture such as letter plates and door knockers etc. (Please see the price-list for additional accessories below.)
Our internally and externally rated fire doors both come with the Warrington Certifire test certificate and a UKAS approved FireQual installation certificate.
We also offer Dual Certification, which includes Secured by Design and PAS24 certification if required.
The Secured by Design certification is only currently available for our externally rated FD30 fire doors, but our internally rated fire doors can be made to the same standards by selecting specific security options, they just wouldn't include a certificate for this.
We are also qualified to carry out City & Guilds Fire Door Inspections. The starting price for a fire door inspection is £165 including VAT. Please be aware that this price may vary depending on your location and the number of doors that need inspecting.
Internally rated fire doors can be used when there is another door between the door being replaced and the outside elements, meaning that the door wouldn't be touched by the rain or wind.
Please note that the composite fire doors that we install are not generally recommended for use between internal rooms inside a domestic house (for example between a kitchen and a living room).
We offer clear, satin and stippolyte pyrodur glass for our internally rated FD30S composite fire doors.
The prices shown on the door designs above are to be added to the base price above (that applies to your property).
We offer both clear and stippolyte pyroglass for our externally rated FD30 fire doors.
The prices shown on the door designs above are to be added to the base price shown above.
