Thermal glass allows visible light to enter your home, whilst at the same time keeping heat from passing through the glass.

Thermal glass works in two ways - by reflecting heat back into the room, rather than allowing it to escape and by allowing the home to benefit from free solar energy.

In the colder months, the heat produced inside your home is sealed inside. Whilst in the warmer months, the heat from outside is prevented from entering your home.

With heating costs continuing to rise, installing a new composite door with a thermal glass upgrade is a clever investment to help to reduce your heating bills. 

Our thermal glass upgrade is made with 'A rated' glass.

Here at Mansfield Front Doors, we offer a wide range of glass options with the thermal glass upgrade.

If you visit our online Composite Door Designer, you will see that all of our glass patterns are available with the thermal glass upgrade.

You will however notice that on our Composite Door Designer you will not be able to choose a thermal glass upgrade on our triple glazed units. The reason you can not have a thermal glass upgrade with a triple glazed unit is that the offer very similar benefits.
